e-CAB Celebrates Pahela Baishakh with Cultural Fest in Dhaka
E-commerce business leaders gathered in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, to welcome the Bengali New Year.
On Tuesday, 14 April, the celebration held at the e-CAB office featured panta-ilish, cultural performances, folk songs, poetry recitations, and various recreational activities involving members.
The event was attended by the administrator of the E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Dr. Saif Uddin Ahmed, who presided over the program, along with members of the support committee, the secretariat, and more than 150 general members.
In his welcome speech, the administrator said that Pahela Baishakh is not just a festival, but a symbol of Bengali heritage, culture, and unity. He added that such initiatives would play an important role in accelerating the contribution of the e-commerce sector toward building a self-reliant Bangladesh.
