Cybersecurity Success: Kaspersky Secures 965 Top-3 Finishes in Global Tests
Global cybersecurity company Kaspersky has achieved 965 top-3 positions by participating in more than 1,100 independent cybersecurity tests from 2013 to 2025, the highest among its competitors.
On Wednesday, 1 April, Kaspersky stated that the Top-3 metric is a key indicator for evaluating performance in the cybersecurity sector, considering both participation and the rate of securing positions among the top three.
In 2025, Kaspersky EDR Expert, for the first time, successfully completed all stages of AV-Comparatives certification and earned the “Certified EDR Detection 2025” recognition. Previously, it had also received the “Approved Advanced EDR 2024” recognition. Similarly, Kaspersky Endpoint Security won AV-TEST’s “Best Protection 2024” award and has consistently been recognized for advanced protection and usability, while also delivering strong results in the “Anti-Tampering 2025” test. Additionally, the company secured SE Labs’ “Winner Enterprise Endpoint 2025” award.
For small businesses, “Kaspersky Small Office Security” received AV-TEST’s “Best Advanced Protection” and usability awards in both 2024 and 2025. It also achieved SE Labs’ “Winner Small Business Endpoint 2025” recognition.
For individual users, after “Kaspersky Standard” was named Product of the Year, “Kaspersky Premium” was recognized as a top-rated product. It also earned the “Approved Fake Shops Detection” certification for identifying fraudulent online shops. Furthermore, “Kaspersky Safe Kids” received special recognition for ensuring effective online safety for children.
Alexander Liskin, Head of Threat Research at Kaspersky, said that regular participation in cybersecurity evaluations helps maintain and enhance product quality, ensuring reliable protection aligned with the evolving needs of users and organizations.
Adrian Hia, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Kaspersky, said that achieving top positions in 90 percent of independent evaluations in 2025 demonstrates the company’s consistent excellence. As cyber risks continue to rise alongside rapid digital transformation, this recognition reinforces the reliability of Kaspersky’s technology for customers and partners.
