Arafat visited the Youth Training Center in Bhutan

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat visited the training center of D-Sung Skilling Program (DSP), a special training program launched in 2021 under the orders of King Jigme Khesar Namgel Wangchuk of Bhutan.

On Saturday, March 29, the State Minister visited the training center at Taba in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.

The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh was welcomed warmly at the training center. Later, they briefed the Bangladesh Minister of State for Information about the D-Sung Program and the D-Sung Skilling Program, one of the two ongoing skill and capacity development programs in Bhutan.

Later the state minister was shown around the facilities of the training center. There, the Minister of State witnessed the handicrafts on display at the Ceramics, Metal Smithing and Sword and Blade workshops.

The Di-Sung Skilling Program is a special program initiated by the King of Bhutan, whose main objective is to train the youth of Bhutan to increase their capacity and skills to be meaningful, productive and capable of leadership. So that they can live a prosperous life. Under this special program, batch-wise special training is given in networking, web development, e-commerce, carpentry, woodworks, lighting and electrical work.

State Minister for Information Mohammad Ali Arafat is currently visiting Bhutan at the invitation of King Jigme Khesar Namgel Wangchuk of Bhutan. After his visit to Bhutan, he is scheduled to return home on March 31 at noon.
