The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee has declared the notice circulating on social media regarding changes to the HSC and equivalent examination schedules as completely fake, baseless, and ill-motivated. At the same time, students, parents, teachers, and all stakeholders have been strongly urged not to believe or share such misleading information.

This was communicated in an emergency public notification signed on Tuesday (July 21) by Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, Exam Controller of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, and Convener of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee.

The notification stated that a fake notice under the name of the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee is being circulated on social media. It falsely claims that the HSC and equivalent examinations will be held according to a revised timetable starting from July 27, 2026. However, there is no truth to this claim.

The Inter-Education Board clarified that neither the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram, nor the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee has any connection with the circulated notice.

It further noted that any decisions, directives, or official notices regarding examinations are exclusively published on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee, and respective education boards.

Under these circumstances, the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee requested everyone not to trust or share any unverified information on social media and urged all to refrain from spreading rumors and misinformation.
