OpenAI Launches ‘Your Year With ChatGPT’ Review Feature
OpenAI has rolled out a special year-end review feature for users, inspired by Spotify Wrapped, offering a personalized look back at how they used ChatGPT throughout the year. The new experience, titled “Your Year With ChatGPT,” is being introduced gradually across selected markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. TechCrunch reported the development.
According to OpenAI, the feature is available to users on the Free, Plus, and Pro plans who have enabled the “Reference Saved Memories” and “Reference Chat History” options. Users must also meet a minimum conversation threshold to access the review. However, the feature is not available for Team, Enterprise, or Education accounts.
The year-in-review experience presents engaging visuals and lighthearted “awards” based on a user’s interaction patterns with ChatGPT over the year. It also generates a poem and an image reflecting the user’s interests and usage themes.
The feature will be accessible via the web as well as Android and iOS apps. OpenAI emphasized that it will not be activated automatically and will require explicit user consent.
