Uber Unveils ‘Uber One’ Membership in Bangladesh
Ride-sharing platform Uber has introduced its membership program tailored to the needs and lifestyle of Bangladeshi commuters. The program, named ‘Uber One’, has been launched to make daily rides more affordable and convenient.
According to a press release, the membership will be available at a monthly fee of Tk 170, which will auto-renew each month. To mark the launch, special discounts are being offered. Members of Uber One will earn up to 10 percent ‘Uber One Credit’ on every ride, ensuring significant savings for regular commuters. Another key benefit of Uber One is priority service from top-rated drivers.
Nashid Ferdous Kamal, Head of Uber Bangladesh, stated: “Uber One is a unique membership experience that will make everyday travel more comfortable and affordable. By combining convenience, savings, and special offers, we are enhancing the travel experience for our users. We are delighted to launch this service, specially designed around the lifestyle and needs of Bangladeshi riders.”
Uber Bangladesh further informed that the Uber One benefits will apply to all ride categories, including UberX, X Priority, Premium, XL, Reserve, CNG, and Bike. To become a member, users need to update to the latest version of the Uber app, open the app, go to ‘Account,’ select ‘Uber One,’ review the benefits and terms, and then tap ‘Join Now.’
