CUET Counts Nearly 14,000 Candidates for 2025–26 Admission Test
The undergraduate admission test for the 2025–2026 academic session at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) will be held on Saturday, January 17, university sources said.
A total of 13,942 candidates will sit for the examination this year—13,092 in Group ‘A’ and 850 in Group ‘B’. Among them, 11,084 are male and 2,858 are female candidates.
The Group ‘A’ examination will take place from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the Group ‘B’ drawing test from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
The Group ‘B’ examination will be conducted only at the CUET campus. A total of 8,500 candidates will appear at the CUET centre. In addition, 5,442 candidates will take the test at two sub-centres—1,365 at Government Haji Mohammad Mohsin College and 4,077 at Chittagong Cantonment Public College.
The total number of available seats this year is 931, including 920 general seats and 11 reserved seats for indigenous students.
