Prime’s Premium: Pioneering Fee-Free Credit Card Launch
Prime Bank has introduced the country’s first fully fee-free credit card, allowing customers to apply easily via the bank’s website or any nearby branch.
The card, unveiled at an event at Prime Tower in Nikunja, Dhaka, is named “Zero by Prime Bank.”
In a press release, the bank stated that the card’s unveiling was conducted by M. Nazim A. Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank’s Consumer Banking Division, alongside Visa Country Manager Sabbir Ahmed. Senior officials from both organizations were also present.
The release noted, “The ‘Zero by Prime Bank’ credit card is a Visa Signature card that ensures premium benefits for customers without any issuance fee, annual fee, renewal fee, EMI processing fee, MFS transfer fee, or hidden charges. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country’s credit card market, offering a card with absolutely no fees.”
The card also includes a tactile notch for visually impaired customers, making it universally accessible and promoting financial inclusion.
Speakers at the event highlighted, “With international acceptance, customer-friendly features, and a transparent fee structure, ‘Zero by Prime Bank’ will provide a new experience for credit card users across the country.”
