Railway Recruitment Results Released: Over 3,500 Candidates Qualify
The results of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) screening test for the position of Sub-Assistant Engineer (10th grade) in Bangladesh Railway have been published, with a total of 3,513 candidates declared qualified.
According to the results, the number of qualified candidates in various categories includes: 396 in Signal/Telecommunication, 94 in Civil Drawing, 104 as Estimators, 182 in Electrical (2019), 694 in Electrical (2023), 176 in Mechanical, 12 in Train Examiner (2019), 423 in Train Examiner (2023), 574 in Way (2023), 178 in Works (2019), 258 in Works (2023), 78 in Bridge (2023), 15 in Marine (2023), and 19 in Estate (2023).
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the results on its official website at around 7:15 PM on Thursday, July 3. PSC’s Public Relations Officer, S. M. Matiur Rahman, confirmed the information.
Earlier, a recruitment circular was issued on December 9, 2019, to fill 516 posts across 11 categories for Sub-Assistant Engineers in Bangladesh Railway. Another circular followed on February 6, 2023. The recruitment test was held on June 28 this year.
