BSCCL Appoints B-trac Solutions as Authorized Starlink Sales Partner in Bangladesh
Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCCL) has appointed B-trac Solutions Limited as its authorized marketing partner and sales agent for satellite-based internet service Starlink in Bangladesh. A contract to this effect was signed on Monday, January 26, at BSCCL’s head office in Dhaka.
Under the agreement, B-trac Solutions will work in collaboration with BSCCL to market, sell, implement, and operate Starlink products and services across the country, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs and corporate customers.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, BSCCL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Imadur Rahman said, “This is an important milestone in the history of Bangladesh’s digital connectivity. Advanced satellite communication technology like Starlink will help deliver high-speed internet to remote and underserved areas of the country. Our partnership with B-trac Solutions, backed by its experience and network, will further strengthen customer service for this offering.”
Major General (Retd.) Md. Ashikuzzaman, Group Director of Bangla Trac Group, said, “This partnership with BSCCL will accelerate the journey of bringing Starlink services to Bangladesh. We will work to ensure advanced connectivity across industry, education, healthcare, and other critical sectors, and remain committed to providing technical support and prompt services to every customer.”
Starlink is a satellite internet service operated by US-based SpaceX. It officially began commercial operations in Bangladesh on May 20, 2025, and has since been providing high-speed, low-latency satellite internet services in the country.
At the contract signing ceremony, BSCCL was represented by Managing Director and CEO Dr. Muhammad Imadur Rahman, General Manager (Administration and Procurement) Md. Golam Sarwar, and General Manager (Sales and Marketing) Shah Ahmedul Kabir. Representing B-Track Solutions Limited were Major General (Retd.) Md. Ashikuzzaman, Group CFO Fahad Mahmud Islam, B-Track Solutions Limited Chief Executive Officer (CEO) M. Tanvir Siddique, Head of Projects Safayet Abdullah, Strategic Account Manager Golam Mustafa Ahad, and Senior Executive Mushbia Shukrana Mahe.
