Mac Momentum: Apple Moves Toward Mass Production of M5 Lineup
Apple is set to begin production of its latest laptop, the M5 MacBook, in the near future. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is on the verge of mass-producing the new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and two new Mac monitors. These devices are expected to arrive on the market between the end of this year and the first quarter of next year, reports Engadget.
Gurman noted that Apple typically unveils the MacBook Pro in the fall and releases an updated MacBook Air in the spring, and this timeline is likely to be followed once again. However, in July, Gurman reported that Apple’s internal planning had initially targeted an early 2026 release for the MacBook Pro.
Among the two upcoming Mac monitors, one is rumored to be an updated version of the Studio Display. First introduced in March 2022, the new iteration may feature mini-LED technology, enhanced brightness, and improved color quality, according to industry speculation.
