Walton Wheels: E-Bike Expansion
Walton has added a new dimension to Bangladesh’s electric bike (e-bike) market. As the country’s first BRTA-approved e-bike company, Walton has introduced two new models to its TAKYON series. With modern design, powerful motors, long-lasting battery backup, and running costs of just 10–15 poisha per kilometre, these e-bikes are being hailed as smart and eco-friendly companions for urban and rural life alike.
The newly launched high-performance Fusion 25FZ model can cover 100 to 110 kilometres on a single charge, with a top speed of 60 km/h. It features a 38Ah 72V graphene lead-acid battery and a 1.2 kW DC brushless motor, capable of accelerating from zero to 100 metres in just 10 seconds. Equipped with a dual disc brake system, advanced tires, and weighing 140 kg, the model delivers reliable performance on both city streets and highways. The Fusion 25FZ is priced at BDT 187,500.
Meanwhile, the Leo 25T1 model reaches a maximum speed of 35 km/h and can travel 70 to 80 kilometres per charge. It comes with a 23Ah 60V graphene lead-acid battery with a charging time of 6 to 8 hours. The bike’s 800W brushless DC motor, coupled with a disc-drum brake system and advanced suspension, ensures a safe and comfortable ride. Weighing just 89 kg and capable of carrying up to 100 kg, the Leo 25T1 is priced at BDT 86,850.

In this context, we have launched the TAKYON e-bike. Walton’s TAKYON e-bike can be a unique solution to make commuting in urban and rural areas easier, more comfortable, and affordable. Our e-bikes have already gained significant popularity, and we have introduced two new models for the country’s customers. More e-bikes will be launched later this year.”
He added that customers can purchase the bikes through easy installment plans. The new TAKYON e-bikes are available across Walton Plaza outlets, authorized dealer shops, and Walton’s official website, complete with Walton’s reliable warranty and prompt after-sales service.
