Science fair is going on in Kaliakair
National Science and Technology Week is going on in Kaliakair of Gazipur. Prof. Dr. Munaj Ahmed Noor, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh inaugurated the 43rd National Fair on Monday (January 10) at noon. .
The two-day fair will end on Tuesday afternoon at the upazila premises under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology and under the supervision of the Science and Technology Museum.
A total of 23 stalls are participating in the fair with the participation of primary, secondary and higher secondary education institutions of the upazila and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh.
BDU Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) Md. Ashraf Uddin, Senior Systems Analyst Muhammad Shahinul Kabir, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tajwar Akram Sakapi Ibne Sajjad, Assistant Commissioner Land, Head of Education Department of the University (Additional Responsibilities) Md. Ashrafuzzaman, Assistant Professor of Information and Communication Technology Samsuddin Ahmed, Head (Acting) of Information and Communication Technology Department Farzana Akter, Upazila Assistant Education Officer, Upazila Social Service Officer, Upazila Youth Development Officer were present among others.
After the inauguration of the fair, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor Prof. Munaj Ahmed Noor, Executive Officer and others visited the stalls of various educational institutions of the upazila including the stall displayed by the students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh.
At the inaugural ceremony, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh Vice-Chancellor Prof. Munaz Ahmed Noor said, “I am overwhelmed to see all the science and technology based projects that the students of primary, secondary, higher secondary and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh have beautifully demonstrated here. Seeing this fair at all.
The way our students demonstrated about solar panels, wind power, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Renewable Energy and so on, it doesn't seem to me that our education is lagging behind. I think these concepts are working in their minds what they are demonstrating here.
Hon'ble Vice Chancellor said that our students are going a long way in technology education through the government being run under the able leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu and they will lead the fourth industrial revolution in future.
