Biman Bolsters Leadership with Key Contractual Hires
Biman Appoints Kaiser Sohel as MD & CEO and Moin Uddin as DMD
Kaiser Sohel Ahmed has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on a contractual basis. At the same time, Syed Moin Uddin Ahmed, a former official of Biman, has been assigned the role of Deputy Managing Director (DMD), a position that had remained vacant for the past several years.
Simultaneously, Habib Ullah Monju has been appointed as Director (Finance) of the national flag carrier.
Each of the appointees has been given the contractual position for a period of one year from the date of joining, on the condition that they relinquish any other professional, business, or employment relationships with government, semi-government, or private institutions or organizations.
These appointments were made on Tuesday, April 7, through three separate notifications.
