DU Science Unit Announces Vacant Seats for 2025-26 Undergraduate Programs
Dhaka University (DU) has 46 vacant seats in three departments of the Science Unit for the 2025-26 undergraduate admission cycle. Among these, 17 seats are available in Computer Science and Engineering, 16 in Nuclear Engineering, and 13 in Robotics and Mechatronics. To qualify for admission in these programs, candidates must have scored the following in the admission test: for Computer Science and Engineering, 15 in Physics and 15 in Mathematics; for Nuclear Engineering, 13 in Physics and 13 in Mathematics; and for Robotics and Mechatronics, 13 in Physics and 14 in Mathematics.
Eligible students who have passed the admission test are invited to apply for these vacant seats. Applications can be submitted through the university’s admission website by Monday, 30 March. Based on written applications, subject allocation for students will be published on 31 March. Students receiving subject allocation must submit their original grade sheets by 5 April.
The admission website specifies that a few seats remain vacant in the Science Unit programs of Computer Science and Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, and Robotics and Mechatronics. Eligible students—those who had these programs in their preference list but were unable to attend the interview—may apply for admission to these vacant seats.
A notice signed by Professor Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Coordinator of Science Unit Admissions, states that vacant seats exist in the undergraduate programs of Computer Science and Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics, and Nuclear Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Science Unit, for the 2025-26 academic session.
Students eligible for these programs who could not attend the interview on the scheduled date or did not submit their original grade sheets may submit written applications to the Science Unit (Faculty of Biological Sciences Office, Curzon Hall area) during office hours by 30 March if they wish to be considered for admission.
