RUET Rolls Out ‘Rupali Cash’ for Cashless Campus Payments
All teachers, students, officers and employees of Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) will now be able to pay all institutional fees online through Rupali Bank’s mobile banking app ‘Rupali Cash’.
The process and operational details of depositing all RUET fees online via the Rupali Cash app were discussed at a meeting held on Monday, 15 December. During the session, participants were briefed on how the digital payment system would function.
The meeting highlighted the benefits of easy, fast, transparent and secure payments, encouraging teachers, students, officers and staff to adopt a cashless payment system. From RUET’s side, all user-related convenience and technical aspects were thoroughly reviewed.
The meeting, held at the university hall room, was chaired by Professor Dr Md Rabiul Islam Sarkar, Director of the Student Welfare Department.
Among those present were Acting Registrar Arif Ahmad Chowdhury, Assistant Director of the Student Welfare Department Md Abu Ismail Siddiqui, Comptroller Nazim Uddin Ahmad, Controller of Examinations Touhid Arif Khan Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Director (Budget) Md Abdul Barik, and ICT Cell Assistant Programmer Engineer Md Zulfikar Islam, along with other university officials.
Representing Rupali Bank, Md Arifuzzaman Sarkar, Deputy General Manager of the Mobile Banking Division, and Md Asaduzzaman, Assistant Manager and Branch Manager of the bank’s RUET branch, were also present, among others.
