JBL has announced its largest battery-powered party speaker, the PartyBox 720. This massive speaker delivers 800 watts of power and offers up to 15 hours of playback, powered by a replaceable battery, according to Engadget.

Equipped with two 9-inch woofers and two 30mm dome tweeters, the PartyBox 720 promises powerful sound output. It also features JBL’s proprietary AI Sound Boost technology, designed to amplify sound without distortion.

The speaker supports multi-speaker connectivity via Auracast, USB-C streaming, and a futuristic light show synchronized with music. It also comes with an XLR port for connecting microphones, guitars, or DJ consoles. The device is priced at $1,099, with pre-orders already underway and shipments set to begin on September 21.

Alongside the PartyBox 720, JBL also unveiled the Boombox 4, an upgraded version of the earlier Boombox 3. The new model is nearly two pounds lighter and offers up to 28 hours of battery backup. It also supports Auracast and comes with IP68-rated waterproofing. The Boombox 4 will be available from September 28 at a price of $550.
