Eid E-commerce Elevation: JatikEG Achieves Remarkable Milestone Ahead of Festival
In a significant leap toward digital transformation, JatikEG—a digital commerce platform by Bangladesh-based tech company Jatik Limited—achieved an extraordinary milestone just one month before Eid-ul-Fitr. Over 21,000 new merchants launched their online stores through the platform during this period, attracting more than 73,000 customers, completing over 100,000 orders, and generating merchant revenue exceeding BDT 25 crore.
This success has been made possible by the comprehensive tools provided by JatikEG, including website creation, payment gateway integration, delivery solutions, marketing tools, and real-time customer support—all tailored to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Since 2022, Jatik has been actively supporting entrepreneurs by offering a timely and localized approach to digital transformation. With JatikEG, even entrepreneurs with little to no technical skills are now able to grow their businesses digitally. In just 18 months, the platform has successfully onboarded over 100,000 active merchants into the digital commerce ecosystem.
Jatik CEO Sultan Moni stated, “We are committed to ensuring that no small business in our country is left behind in the journey of digital progress. The success we witnessed in the month leading up to this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr has further inspired us. We firmly believe that if technology is made simple and aligned with local realities, then any business owner from any corner of the country can become a digital entrepreneur.”
Jatik Limited positions itself as a catalyst for SME empowerment, believing that a flourishing national economy depends on bringing small businesses into the digital fold. Through JatikEG, the company aims to build a smart and inclusive digital ecosystem where no enterprise is left behind due to lack of access or opportunity.
