HSC admission process started online for the first time
The online form filling process for this year's HSC candidates started from Thursday. The activities will continue till August 30. For the first time this year, you have to fill the form online and pay the fee online. No examinee or guardian has to appear physically at educational institutions.
Earlier, on July 31, the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education had issued a notification in this regard. Only students selected by the institution will be able to fill out the form, the notification said. The fee for filling up the form for regular students has been fixed at Tk 1,160 for the science group and Tk 1,070 for humanities and business education groups.
It further said that the fee can be paid through Sonali Seba payment gateway using the link found in SMS or Sonali Bank's e-service app. Candidates will also be able to pay the fee through the Sonali Seba Gateway from the Student Panel on the Board's website.
In this regard, Dhaka Education Board Chairman Nehal Ahmed said, the institution has to complete the online selection of candidates between August 12 and August 25. Selected candidates have to pay the examination fee by August 30.
