At present, Tk. 397 crore of Qcoom is stuck with the payment gateway Foster. Of this, customers have at least Tk. 166 crore, against which the e-commerce company has not delivered the product. The money had been stuck in Foster's confiscated account for so long. The Ministry of Commerce has started distributing 59 crore 5 lakh 10 thousand 347 taka among the customers against 6,721 orders by releasing the stuck money. On the opening day, Tk. 40,02,423 was reimbursed against the orders of 20 customers on Monday. On Tuesday, the second day, 53 customers' money was reimbursed. The money is being paid back to the customers online through Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. It can be noted that, a customer filed a case under the Digital Security Act last October for not delivering the product after placing the order. Ripon Mia, the company's CEO, and Humayun Kabir alias RJ Nirab, the chief marketing and public relations officer, are now in jail after being arrested in the case.
