Postgraduate Orientation of CUET Mathematics Department held
Orientation for the postgraduate students of the Mathematics Department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) for the academic year 2020-21 was held on Sunday (October 3).
The ceremony was held in the simulation lab of the department; the head of the department of mathematics Dr. Ujjwal Kumar Dev was present as the chief guest while the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim presided over the orientation program.
The chief guest said that the goodwill of the students is very important for success in research related higher education. Many students from the Department of Mathematics are already pursuing postgraduate degrees and doing research with a reputation at home and abroad.
At the meeting, the senior teacher of the department Professor Dr. Sunil Dhar and Professor Dr. Mohammad Shah Alam spoke about the various rules related to postgraduate study. The program was conducted by Assistant Professor Farzana Ferdous. Later, the outgoing Dean Professor Md. Rezaul Karim was honored by the department.
