Sheikh Russell was the youngest of the five children of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangabandhu was an admirer of Nobel laureate philosopher Bertrand Russell. The little boy was named after this world famous philosopher. Perhaps the dream was that, his little son would one day be as famous as Bertrand Russell. But everything fell apart on August 15, 1975. Russell was born on October 18, 1964 at midnight. He was born at night, may be with the expectation of daylight. But before the light engulfed the world, his life-lamp was extinguished by a group of assassins, who were actually inhuman in the guise of humans. Russell was growing up with all the human qualities. What else can be even more cruel and painful?
