Defeated force launched cyber attack against Bangladesh: Palak

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said that cyber-attacks are being carried out from several countries to drag down the huge success of Bangladesh. Without mentioning the name he said, the defeated forces in the liberation war are carrying out such attacks with the help of the state. According to the state minister, though he is not utter the name of the country but specified in explanation, the attack was being carried out from Pakistan. The Minister of State delivered this information while addressing as a Chief Guest at a web discussion on ``Online Content on Liberation War vs. Information Distortion and Rumor Disruption" organized by TMGB on Sunday.  organized by TMGB on Sunday. However, Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that the national security of the ICT department has been strengthened, noting that no state is considered an enemy. The state minister also said "We have taken several initiatives to consolidate cybersecurity. After the attack on Bangladesh Bank, I have given utmost importance to this issue and BD CIRT is working on this seriously'' "Without understanding, various public-private institutions and individuals have created confusion about the exact history of the liberation war'' he added. He also felt that it is the need of the day to set up an institutional and well-recognized archive in this regard. Blogger and content researcher on liberation war Ami Rahman Pial presented a key note at the event hosted by TMGB convener Muhammad Khan.
