Bangladesh has advanced 8 steps in the Global Soft Power Index
Bangladesh has improved by 37 percent in the global soft power index in one year. Become one of the five fastest growing ethnic brands in the world. Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates and Georgia have improved at the same rate. Bangladesh's position in the Global Soft Power Index is now 97th, eight steps ahead in the list.

According to the 2023 Soft Power Index prepared by the London-based organization, Bangladesh has improved twice as much as Pakistan in the index. And 10 times than Sri Lanka. However, with a step improvement, the neighboring country India is at the top as usual in South Asia. They are ranked 28th in the world with the best score of 47 in culture and heritage.
In 2022, Bangladesh was ranked 105th in the Global Soft Power Index. The standard achieved at that time was 29 percent. Last year the brand value of Bangladesh was 371 billion dollars. Now with a brand value of 508 billion the achieved value is 35.1 and the position is 97th.
The United States is at the top in terms of ethnic brand value. Their brand value is 30 thousand 309 billion dollars. The country's score is 74.8 out of 100.

It is the financial activity or gross domestic product of a nation and the power of the nation in the world market. In the overall assessment, Bangladesh scored the highest 4.5 and 5.2 marks in the recognition and reputation index among the various sub-indices of this index. Education and Science got the lowest marks. Scored 2.3 in this index.
