Popular television presenter Dipti Chowdhury, widely recognized for hosting acclaimed Channel i shows like To the Point and Straight Cut, has embarked on a new chapter of her life. She married noted science researcher, author, and academic Mushtaq Ibn Ayub, whose popular non-fiction book Gene Mon Bhalobasha (Gene, Mind, and Love) famously analyzes romance through the lens of biology and genetics.

The Akdh (wedding ceremony) took place on Friday afternoon, June 5, at a restaurant in the capital’s Banglamotor area. Conceived as an intimate family affair, the ceremony was attended by members of both families, close relatives, and well-wishers.
Following the announcement on social media on Friday afternoon, a wave of congratulations and warm wishes poured in from colleagues, fans, and well-wishers across various platforms.

Sharing a few glimpses of their special day, Dipti expressed her joy on social media, writing:
"The only regret of my life would have been not having him, and today, I have him as my life partner. Deeply grateful to Almighty Allah. He is the purest soul I have ever known. My love for him is rooted in profound respect. Let’s begin this beautiful journey together."

Family sources revealed that Mushtaq Ibn Ayub—the youngest of four brothers—is a distinguished academician and researcher. He pursued his higher education in the United Kingdom, earning his PhD from the prestigious University of Oxford. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Dhaka. Alongside his academic pursuits, he is also actively associated with Channel 24.

Dipti Chowdhury rose to immense national prominence in July 2024 during the student-led mass uprising. During a live broadcast of Channel i's talk show *To the Point*, former Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury Manik aggressively labeled her a "child of a Razakar." The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread public condemnation for the former justice.

Throughout the ordeal, Dipti maintained exemplary composure, firmly stating her identity as a child of a freedom fighter's family and protesting the remarks. Her grace under pressure and unwavering resolve were lauded across the nation, making her a symbol of professional integrity.
