Starlink Suffers Sudden Service Shutdown

Elon Musk’s satellite-based internet service, Starlink, has faced a major disruption. A notice published on the company’s website on Monday stated, “Starlink is currently experiencing an outage. Our team is investigating the issue.” However, no further details were provided, according to Reuters.

Tracking platform Downdetector reported that by 12:35 a.m. local time in the United States (0435 GMT), at least 43,000 users had been left without service.

Starlink, operated under SpaceX, provides internet through satellites placed in low Earth orbit. The service is primarily used in remote regions and conflict zones.

Attempts to contact SpaceX for comment on the incident did not receive an immediate response.
