Walton Wheels in New Power: Launches Seven Graviton Car Battery Models
Walton Micro-Tech Corporation has launched seven new models of Graviton car batteries tailored for private cars, microbuses, pickup vans, and auto-rickshaws (CNG). These sealed maintenance-free car batteries are manufactured to Japanese standards and feature advanced technology to ensure superior performance and reliable, uninterrupted driving power for vehicle users.
The new models were unveiled at a grand event at Walton’s corporate office in Bashundhara, Dhaka. The ceremony was attended by popular musician Tahsan Khan, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Managing Director S. M. Mahbubul Alam, Director Zakia Sultana, and Walton Micro-Tech Corporation’s CEO Nishat Tasnim Shuchi.
Senior officials from the company and over a hundred Walton battery dealers and distributors were also present.
“This is not just a name anymore; Walton is now a national brand and a symbol of successful ‘Made in Bangladesh’ innovation,” said S. M. Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech. “With the launch of our own sealed maintenance-free (SMF) car batteries, another proud chapter is added to Walton’s relentless journey. It reflects our manufacturing capability, research expertise, and unwavering commitment to our customers.”
He further noted Walton’s future plans, stating, “We also plan to introduce low-maintenance car and commercial vehicle batteries, as well as solar and IPS batteries in the near future.”
Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, CEO of Walton Micro-Tech Corporation, stated, “The annual demand for car batteries in Bangladesh is around 500,000 units, with a market value exceeding Tk 300 crore. To cater to this promising market, our R&D team has been working for several years. Today, we proudly introduce seven models of car batteries, with 100% quality assured throughout the production process.”
Currently, Walton manufactures and markets internationally standard batteries for cars and motorcycles, rechargeable fans, online UPS, emergency lights, and other small battery-powered devices.
During the event, Abdullah Al Asif, Business Coordinator of Walton Micro-Tech’s CEO Office, and Nahid Al Mahmud, Head of Research & Innovation, presented detailed insights into the production process, features, and technological standards of Graviton batteries.
They highlighted the Graviton battery’s core attributes: durability, extended lifespan, maximum cranking performance, and consistent functionality in all weather conditions. Japanese standards are rigorously followed in the production process to ensure the highest level of quality.
The newly launched models are Graviton N50Z, Graviton N50ZL, Graviton NS40ZL, Graviton NS60L, Graviton NS70, Graviton AX120-7, and Graviton NX120-7L. Priced between Tk 8,650 and Tk 15,600, the premium Walton car batteries are available at Walton distributor and dealer showrooms nationwide.
