Apple Announces Ambitious $500 Billion Investment Plan in the US

Apple has unveiled a massive $500 billion investment plan in the United States over the next four years, which includes building a large AI server factory in Texas and creating 20,000 new jobs in research and development across the country, according to Reuters.

The investment will span multiple sectors, including procurement from U.S.-based suppliers, the production of TV shows and films for Apple TV+, and the development of new infrastructure. While the majority of Apple’s products are assembled in China, many of their components are still manufactured in the United States.

In a strategic move to bolster its domestic manufacturing, Apple announced it has begun producing its own custom-designed chips at a factory in Arizona operated by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Additionally, Apple is partnering with Foxconn to construct a 250,000-square-foot facility in Houston, where servers essential for Apple Intelligence will be assembled.

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his gratitude to Apple and CEO Tim Cook for the significant investment, stating that it reflects the company’s confidence in his administration. Analysts suggest that Apple’s substantial commitment signals a strategic alignment with the Trump administration.
