North South University and CodersTrust Sign MoU to Boost Digital Skills

In a bid to enhance students’ digital skills, foster effective career development, and strengthen Bangladesh’s position in the global knowledge-based economy, North South University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CodersTrust, a US-based edtech company owned by Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.

The signing ceremony took place on Saturday at the North South University campus in Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka. The agreement was signed by Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University and Chairman of Grameen Bank, and Aziz Ahmad, Co-founder and Chairman of CodersTrust.

The event was attended by Dr. Sajjad Hossain, Dean of North South University, and senior officials from CodersTrust, including CEO Md. Shamsul Haque, Chief Revenue Officer Md. Iqbal Hasan Ferdous, and directors Shamama Naushin Yamani, Mahjabin Akter, and Sajeda Akter Happy.

Aziz Ahmad highlighted the goal of the partnership, stating, “The aim of this collaboration is to empower the youth through advanced skill development programs. It seeks to prepare university students as tools for advancement in the global digital workforce. CodersTrust is committed to building a sustainable economic foundation both locally and globally.”
