A project exhibition organized by the Department of Architecture at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology concluded in a festive atmosphere. At the exhibition, students of Level—2, Term—1 presented various creative projects completed under their sessional course.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Sunday morning, 19 April, at the terrace premises of Academic Building—5 of the university by Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashidul Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at CUET.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Architecture, Professor Dr. Sajal Chowdhury, along with other faculty members of the department.
The exhibition, showcasing the diversity of students’ designs, presentations, and concepts, became lively and engaging. It served as an effective platform for students to express their creativity and is expected to play a significant role in enriching architectural education and practice.
Overall supervision of the exhibition was carried out by Assistant Professor Sara Binte Haque of the Department of Architecture, along with Course Coordinator of the 23rd batch and Lecturer of the department, Sadia Ibnat Raicha.
Speaking at the exhibition, Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashidul Hasan said that such architectural exhibitions would enable students’ work to be presented before a broader audience, which would play an important role in developing their creativity, confidence, and professional skills.
Head of the Department of Architecture, Professor Dr. Sajal Chowdhury, said that the students completed their projects with great dedication, hard work, and innovative thinking, reflecting the department’s continuous progress. He expressed hope that such exhibitions would be organized on a larger scale with more diverse presentations in the future.
