CUET Confirms Commencement of Admission Test for 2025–26 on January 17
The Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has announced that the admission test for first-year undergraduate programs for the 2025–26 academic session will be held on January 17, 2026. The decision was made during CUET’s 162nd emergency Academic Council meeting held on Monday, October 27.
According to a press release issued by the university’s Public Relations Office later in the day, “After detailed discussion, it was decided that the admission test for Level-1 undergraduate courses for the academic session 2025–26 will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026.”
The meeting, held in the Academic Council Conference Room, was presided over by Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of CUET and Chairman of the Academic Council. The session was also attended by the Member Secretary of the Academic Council and CUET Registrar, Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, along with other council members.
