Google Guards: Pixel Care+ Protects Devices
Google has announced the launch of a new device protection program, Pixel Care+, in the United States. This initiative will replace the previous Google Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection plans, with existing monthly subscribers gradually transitioned to the new program, according to TechCrunch.
Google stated that Pixel Care+ will provide unlimited coverage for accidental damage, mechanical failures, and extended warranty claims. The service includes screen and battery repairs, post-warranty fault resolution, genuine Google parts, priority support, and optional theft and loss coverage—all at no additional cost.
For the Pixel 10 devices, the program costs $10 per month or $199 for a two-year plan. The new program will be applicable to various Pixel devices starting from Pixel 8, as well as Pixel Watch, Pixel Tablet, and the latest Fitbit models.
