Smartphone Spectacle: Xiaomi Showcases Super-Sized Screen with Redmi 15C
Xiaomi has launched its latest large-screen smartphone under the tagline “Shomoy Ekhon Amar” (“The Time is Mine”). The Redmi 15C model features the segment’s biggest 6.9-inch Dot Drop Display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother user experience.
On Tuesday, August 25, Xiaomi Bangladesh announced that the device’s advanced display technology has earned three TÜV Rheinland certifications—Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly, and Flicker-Free. Another major highlight of the Redmi 15C is its long-lasting battery life. Equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery, the phone also supports fast charging.
According to Xiaomi, the smartphone can charge from zero to 50 percent in just 31 minutes. It also includes 10W reverse charging, allowing the device to function as a power bank.
Speaking on the launch, Xiaomi Bangladesh Country Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury said, “We are delighted to introduce the Xiaomi Redmi 15C, the largest display smartphone in this segment. After receiving overwhelming response from fans for the Redmi 14C, we are bringing the Redmi 15C with a more advanced design and modern technology. This smartphone with state-of-the-art display technology will make the daily smartphone experience of entertainment-loving Xiaomi fans even more lively and enjoyable.”
The Redmi 15C is available in two variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Tk 14,999 and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Tk 17,499.
