Vivo V50 Lite Launched with Musical Magic by Tahsan in Dhaka

In a vibrant fusion of rhythm and technology, global smartphone brand Vivo officially launched its latest model — the Vivo V50 Lite — in Bangladesh through a musical event headlined by beloved singer Tahsan Rahman Khan. The grand unveiling took place Saturday evening at Aloki in Tejgaon, beginning with the debut of a new song, “Tomay Bhebe…”, setting a melodious tone for the event.

Describing the device as “as sleek as it is strong”, Tahsan delivered soulful performances of crowd-favorite tracks like “Prem Amar” and “Tumi Chuye Dile Mon”, engaging with attendees through selfies and interactive social media broadcasts. The audience, buzzing with excitement, became a part of the experience, both on-site and online.

Between his performances, Tahsan charmed the crowd with the playful line: “Keu na januk, Vivo amar,” before launching into the hit “Prem Tumi Kothay”. The crowd enthusiastically joined in, singing, “Matal ami tomar preme, tai orthohin sobai je prem lage.”

The reveal showcased the Vivo V50 Lite in two striking color variants — Titanium Gold, inspired by the golden hues of desert twilight, and the enigmatic Phantom Black. Measuring just 7.79mm in thickness and weighing 196 grams, the phone boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor equipped with Aura Light Portrait technology, ensuring professional-quality photos even in low light. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera delivers studio-style shots.

Powering the device is a robust 6,500mAh battery, complemented by 90W FlashCharge technology, offering extended use with only a few minutes of charging. Vivo claims the battery retains over 80% of its health even after five years, reinforcing the phone's long-term performance promise.

Present at the launch were Vivo’s Managing Director David Kim and Country Brand Manager Tanzib Ahmed, among other officials. As part of the celebration, Tahsan personally handed over newly launched Vivo phones and earbuds to the winners of the Vivo phone photography contest.

Additionally, Vivo confirmed that the Camon 40 series, powered by Techno, is now available across all authorized outlets in Bangladesh. The Camon 40 with 128GB storage is priced at BDT 23,999, while the Camon 40 Pro with 256GB is available for BDT 27,999.

The musical launch not only underscored Vivo’s growing footprint in Bangladesh’s smartphone market but also turned technology into an experience — one song, one selfie, and one smart innovation at a time.
