Besides, science clubs can make students aware at the grass root level and cooperate with government agencies on greening, plantation, safe food, health protection etc. The lead pollution spreading from three wheeler batteries in villages is alarming. In this regard, the Rajshahi University Science Club can engage the young generation to make people aware of the dangers of lead pollution and assist government agencies in science-based waste management. What is not possible with law enforcement agencies alone, but can be achieved with motivational programs and innovative spirit.
Rajshahi University Science Club President Abdul Latif, General Secretary Masud Rana and Treasurer Sheikh Saikat committee members were present on the occasion.
