Ekushey Book Fair Debut Drive
Ekusher Sankalan Invites Digital Poetry Manuscripts
- Ekusher Sankalan calls for online manuscript submissions from emerging young poets
- Submission deadline set for November 16 via Word and PDF email attachments
- Digital e-paper portal showcases decade-long curated Ekushey Book Fair titles
Integrating digital workflows into literary publishing, annual publication 'Ekusher Sankalan' has invited online manuscript submissions from promising new poets for its signature 'Kobi-Abhishek' initiative ahead of the upcoming Ekushey Book Fair.
The initiative aims to facilitate debut poetry collections for poets aged 33 or below through a modern submission ecosystem.
Interested applicants must submit a digital manuscript containing a minimum of 40 poems formatted in both MS Word and PDF, accompanied by their personal credentials, to [email protected] by November 16, 2026.
Amid traditional publishing barriers facing emerging poets, Ekusher Sankalan launched Kobi-Abhishek in 2020 to offer dedicated editorial, promotional, and financial backing to new literary figures. Over the past six years, six emerging poets have been introduced to readers through this platform, complete with cash awards and interactive reader-author webinars.
Edited by poet Maruf Raihan for over two decades, Ekusher Sankalan has adapted to modern digital publishing trends by launching a mobile-optimized e-paper version. Literature enthusiasts can explore a digital archive featuring selected titles from the past 12 years of the Ekushey Book Fair by visiting its official web domain (www.banglamati.net/50-book).
