Samsung Electronics has introduced Health Assistant, a new AI-powered personal health assistant designed to make health management more intelligent and integrated. Built directly into the company's popular Samsung Health app, the service is currently available in beta for selected users in the United States.

Integrating Five Key Health Metrics

Health Assistant analyzes data from the five core pillars of Samsung Health—sleep, physical activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure. Using this information, the AI assistant provides personalized health insights, practical recommendations, and explains how different aspects of a user's health influence one another.

Expert-Verified Recommendations

To improve reliability and accuracy, Samsung says the AI-generated recommendations have been reviewed and validated by a team of experienced physicians and certified health coaches before being delivered to users.

Personalized Coaching Coming Soon

Samsung plans to expand the platform with AI-powered health coaching to support goals such as weight management and healthier lifestyle habits. The company also intends to integrate its Personal Data Engine, enabling the assistant to deliver highly personalized recommendations based on users' daily schedules, routines, and calendar events.

In a statement, Dr. Hon Pak, Head of Samsung's Digital Health Team, said the goal of the new technology is to simplify everyday health monitoring and help users identify potential health risks or changes at an early stage.
