UCB’s Upgrade Ushers Unavoidable Unavailability

United Commercial Bank (UCB) has announced that all forms of its digital services will remain suspended for nearly 12 hours over two days due to scheduled system maintenance.
According to the bank, transactions will be temporarily unavailable from 2:00 am to 7:50 am on Friday, September 12, and again from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 am on Saturday, September 13.
During these periods, customers will not be able to access U-Net internet banking, debit cards, ATMs, ADC services, agent banking, or remittance facilities.
The bank authority stated that the downtime is necessary for system maintenance to improve service quality, adding, “We apologize in advance for this temporary inconvenience.”
