bKash Bags Visa’s ‘Excellence in Wallet Partnership’ Award
bKash has received the ‘Excellence in Wallet Partnership’ award from Visa for its strong role in the digital wallet ecosystem through strategic collaborations with partners.
The award was presented to bKash Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kamal Quadir by Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Arif Hossain Khan at the Visa Leadership Conclave Bangladesh 2025, held recently at a hotel in the capital.
Also present at the event were Visa’s Group Country Director (India & South Asia) Sandeep Ghosh, Country Manager Sabbir Ahmed, and bKash Chief Commercial Officer Ali Ahmmed.
This year, in recognition of outstanding achievements in various sectors, the global payment service provider honored 17 banks, fintechs, and retail organizations with a total of 30 awards. The accolades were presented in categories such as fintech, merchant acceptance, e-commerce, cross-border payments, Visa debit and credit card operations, and commercial cards, acknowledging exceptional performance in contributing to the country’s digital economy.
