Post and Telecommunication Minister Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, the brave freedom fighter, said that we have won the battle in 1971; we must ensure victory in the ongoing battle of transforming Smart Bangladesh. We also need to continue the digital fight against online disinformation or rumors of anti-development evil forces. He called upon the freedom fighters, including the children of the freedom fighters, to unite and work as soldiers in the battle to establish a smart Bangladesh.
The minister made this call on Sunday while speaking at a function organized by the Freedom Fighters Children Command on the occasion of the 51st founding anniversary of the Muktijoddha Sangsad at Bangabandhu Bhaban premises on Dhanmondi Road No. 32 in the capital.

Monirul Haque and General Secretary of Muktijoddha Sangsad Children’s Command Md. Salim Reza spoke.
The brave freedom fighter Mr. Mustafa Jabbar referred to the liberation war of 1971 as a people's war and said that the mothers of this country gave food and shelter to the freedom fighters without eating themselves. Pointing out that the war of 1971 has been won but the war has not stopped yet, he said that the war started by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the transformation of Bangladesh should be continued. Bangabandhu's dream of Sonar Bangla should be established by winning this war. Sheikh Hasina's dynamic leadership has turned Bangladesh, which Henry Kissinger called a bottomless basket, into a role model for US President Barack Obama to his homeland, Kenya.
Mentioning that Bangladesh is the only language-based country in the region, Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, the inventor of the Bengali language on the computer, said that Bangabandhu of the language movement initiated the establishment of Bangladesh. Mentioning that the Bangladesh state was founded on specific goals, he said, the generation of the liberation war must fight to advance the progress of Bangladesh by resisting the machinations of the friends of the defeated enemies. He highlighted the need to speak out against digital propaganda and said, earlier the movement was only in the field, but evil forces from within the country and outside are using social media against the state and people of Bangladesh. He urged the children of freedom fighters to continue their struggle through social media to strengthen the hand of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to continue the country's progress.
