Technology-based skill development training for primary school teachers started
Youth Hub has organized a two-month-long training workshop for the primary level teachers. The aim of the online workshop is to improve the teaching quality and enabling the teachers to make classrooms more innovative and enjoyable by using information technology, especially Google tools.
Md. Zakir Hossain, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Ishwarganj Upazila of Mymensingh District inaugurated the workshop organized by Google Meet.
Mr. Pavel Sarwar, President of Youth Hub and Certified Educator and Trainer, Google for Education conducted the training workshop from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesday.
Initially, a virtual workshop with 50 teachers will continue for two months. The workshop will teach various applications of Google for Education, virtual reality, Google classroom, said Sadiq Shamim, coordinator of the workshop.
This training program on behalf of Youth Hub will be conducted completely free of cost only for the primary school teachers of Ishwarganj Upazila.
Youth Hub, a Malaysia-based IT company, is working on innovation, IT education and entrepreneurship at the school level. The institute is giving priority to information technology education especially among female students.
