MoU Signed between BACCO and ASSET Project

Bangladesh Association of Contact Centers and Outsourcing (BACCO) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET) project under the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education, Ministry of Education, with financial support from the government and the World Bank. According to the agreement, BACCO is included under the enterprise-based training of the Asset project.

Under this training program, BACCO will accelerate the economic development by reducing the unemployment of the country by providing skill-enhancing training for the youth, workers, women, disabled, backward and disadvantaged people in accordance with the needs of the country's domestic and international labor market.

The MoU was signed by BACCO Vice President Tanvir Ibrahim on behalf of BACCO Executive Committee and Project Director (Additional Secretary) Abu Mumtaz Saad Uddin Ahmed signed on behalf of ASSET Project. 

BACCO Executive Director Lt. Col. (Retd.) Md. Mahtabul Haque and senior officials of both organizations were also present on the occasion.
