Selling vehicles, Evaly got 2 crore 90 lakh 55 thousand taka

The current board of directors of e-commerce company Evaly received a total of Tk 29 million 55 thousand by selling seven cars in an open auction under the direction of the court. A total of seven running cars were auctioned off at the Victoria Convention Center next to Evaly's office at Sobhanbagh in Dhanmondi on Thursday afternoon. The most expensive of the seven cars was the Range Rover used by the company's founder and former chief executive officer (CEO) Mohammad Russel. Engineer Habibur Rahman bought the car at auction. He bought the car for 1 crore 81 lakh 50 thousand taka. The number of the car was: Dhaka Metro-G-18-6096. Year of registration, June 2020. Range Rover. Brand, Land Rover. Made in the year 2020. The minimum auction price of the car was set at Tk 1 crore 60 lakh. The car was sold at around BDT 2 million more than the minimum auction price. As can be seen in the auction, the Dhaka Metro-Gha-18-7098 (Range Rover) car was picked up in the first auction. At the beginning of each call the higher price was 20 thousand taka. Later it was fixed at 1 lakh taka. Engineer Habibur Rahman (ID-038) became the highest bidder of the car by open call. He bought the car for 1 crore 81 lakh 50 thousand taka. The second highest bidder was Sheikh Shafiul Alam, ID 49. He bid Tk 1.81 crore for the car. Following the auction, Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, chairman of the board of directors of Evaly, said more auctions would be called in the future to pay off the debts of the creditors. The Toyota Prius private car was sold at auction for 17 lakh 30 thousand taka. A buyer named Mohammad Ripon Islam bought the car at this price. Besides, Prashanta Bhowmik bought the Toyota CHR model car at a maximum price of Tk 23 lakh 80 thousand. He also bought the second car of Axio model for 15 lakh taka. The first Toyota Axio model car has been sold for 15 lakh 35 thousand taka. A buyer named Abul Hasnat Russel bought the car as the highest bidder. On the other hand, Kaniz Fatima, the only female bidder of the auction, bought the Honda Vessel car at the auction for a maximum of Tk 17 lakh 60 thousand. The latest to be auctioned was Evaly's Toyota brand microbus. A buyer named Mohammad Riaz Uddin bought the car at a maximum price of Tk 20 lakh. The auction was supervised by a  Sub-Registrar and an Assistant Registrar of the High Court as directed by the High Court.
