Science museum moves out with a 4D movie-bus
The National Museum of Science and Technology has started a mobile science exhibition at Jahangirnagar University outside the capital for the first time after overcoming the Covid-19 situations.
On November 1, a modern 4D movie-bus left the capital and reached Jahangirnagar University Campus. Three hundred students and young scientists took part in it. The Jahangirnagar University campus became vibrant through this exhibition.
The National Museum of Science and Technology has developed a four-dimensional movie theater rich in modern technology to take science education to remote areas.
In this regard, Director General of the National Museum of Science and Technology Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said, “Science Museum is conducting this activity with the aim of popularizing science at the doorsteps of students without keeping science education merely in the books. Besides, online activities have also been started. Science cannot be learned by memorizing, science must be learned through life-based activities. In order to make the whole nation science-minded, science education must reach out to remote areas.”
