7th International Tech Carnival goes on at DRMC
A two-day international tech carnival has started on Saturday at the Dhaka Residential Model College-DRMC campus located at Mohammadpur in Dhaka. Gaming tournament, bot show-casing, techquest hunt and bazaar quiz are going on in this 7th carnival organized by IT club of DRMC. More than 4 thousand students from more than 250 institutions of the country participated in this carnival.
Some of them are storming the mouse-keyboard gaming competition. Some have again participated in international car races. A big team is busy in Velorant or FIFA World Cup.
The participants showed great enthusiasm in the competition to win prizes by answering the correct questions in the buzzer quiz final. Someone again presented various projects for Smart Bangladesh in the festival premises. Explaining the invented concepts and prototypes to the visitors. The information and communication technology department in the government is one of the collaborators of this carnival, which is organized in all kinds of amazing events, starting from bot showcase, treasure hunt etc.
About the arrangement, the Principal of Dhaka Residential Model College Brigadier General Kazi Shamim Farhad said, such a tech carnival will make students interested in getting proper knowledge about modern technology and its proper use.
One of the surprises of this year's carnival is the Lt. Sheikh Jamal Innovation Grant. About 20 lakh taka will be given in grants to budding young entrepreneurs. State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak will announce this grant at the closing ceremony of the carnival on Sunday.
