Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb and Two Others Appointed to Biman Bangladesh Airlines Board
The government has appointed National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, and Senior Secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat Akhtar Ahmed as members of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
The appointments were made through a notification issued on Wednesday by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
The gazette notification was signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Mosammat Shakila Parveen on behalf of the President.
According to the notification, the appointments were made under Section 30(B) of the Bangladesh Biman Act, 2023, appointing them as directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited. Issued in the public interest, the order takes effect immediately.
