Biman Bangladesh Boots 11 Candidates for Cheating in Recruitment Exam
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited has expelled eleven candidates for adopting unfair means during the written examination for the post of Traffic Helper (Casual).
The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the airline’s media wing on Saturday, October 11.
According to Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the written examination for the Traffic Helper (Casual) post was held on October 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at two centers — BAF Shaheen College, Jahangir Gate, Dhaka Cantonment, and Civil Aviation School and College, Tejgaon, Dhaka.
The airline stated that a total of eleven candidates were expelled for various forms of malpractice — seven from BAF Shaheen College and four from Civil Aviation School and College.
Among them, Ruba Akter (Roll: 28003719), Sajahan Hossain Sajib (Roll: 28006647), and Imamul Haque (Roll: 28007703) were expelled for using mobile phones during the examination. Md. Farhad Hossain Firoz (Roll: 28007489) and Md. Labib Hasan (Roll: 28007761) were disqualified for discrepancies between their admit card photos and actual appearance.
Additionally, Md. Shahin Mia (Roll: 28005055), Abdus Sobahan (Roll: 28014023), and Md. Rezwan (Roll: 28014465) were expelled for taking the exam on behalf of others. Md. Moksedul (Roll: 28013501) and Md. Nazrul Islam (Roll: 28012824) were disqualified for adopting dishonest methods, while Asadul Islam Utsho (Roll: 28008832) was expelled for sitting the exam using the same admit card as another candidate.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has filed criminal cases against all eleven individuals with Tejgaon and Kafrul Police Stations. Of them, five have been identified as proxy candidates.
At BAF Shaheen College, Ismail Hossain appeared using the admit card of Nur Mohammad Mollah (Roll: 28000091), and Mst. Sharmin Nahar took the exam using Sharmin Akter’s admit card, while Md. Hanif Ali (Roll: 28004373) was caught photographing the question paper.
At the Civil Aviation School and College center, Md. Rezaul Islam took the test using Abdus Sobahan’s admit card (Roll: 28014023), Saddam Hossain sat the exam with Md. Rezwan’s admit card (Roll: 28014465), and Mahamudul Hasan used Md. Nazrul Islam’s (Roll: 28012824).
The proxy examinees have been detained, while the main candidates were marked as absconding in the filed cases.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines reiterated its strict “zero tolerance” policy against all forms of malpractice in recruitment examinations and affirmed that maximum vigilance measures were in place to ensure fairness and transparency.
