Dhaka Hosts International Security and Safety Expo 2025
On the morning of Thursday, September 18, the International Security and Safety Expo 2025 commenced at Hall 4 of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. More than fifty manufacturers, software developers, and solution providers from eight countries, including Germany, China, Taiwan, Dubai, India, and Hong Kong, are exhibiting their security and safety products at the event.
The expo features a wide range of technologies, including workplace fire safety equipment, security devices, smart monitoring systems, health and fire protection technologies, smart software solutions, and artificial intelligence-driven cyber security and safety innovations.
The exhibition has been jointly organized by I-Station Limited, the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), and Dubai-based technology company GPE Expo (FZE). Among the local participants are prominent firms such as Walton, Smart Technologies, and ZKTeco Technologies’ Satark and Tipsy. Alongside various sensor detectors, the spotlight has largely fallen on CCTV cameras, with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, and Safe drawing particular attention. Bangladesh Fire Service has also joined the expo.
Since the morning, exhibitors have been busy arranging their products and services at the venue. However, prior to the official inauguration, the number of visitors remained limited. Organizers anticipate a rise in attendance later in the day following the formal opening.
According to the organizers, a Business-to-Business (B2B) session will be held after the official inauguration. This will provide local security and safety product manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software providers, banking and corporate representatives, as well as young entrepreneurs in the cyber security sector, an opportunity to engage in discussions with representatives of leading international technology companies. Organizers noted that such interactions would foster smart linkages between domestic security technology industries and global innovations, creating new business opportunities for emerging local entrepreneurs in the safety and security sector.
