Workshop on ‘NIS and APA’ held at CUET

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) organized a day-long training workshop titled ‘Training on National Integrity Strategy-NIS and Annual Performance Agreement-APA: Bangladesh Perspective’. The workshop was held on Monday (December 26, 2022) at the Administrative Building Auditorium of CUET.  Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) member Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher was present at the workshop as the Resource Person and the Chief Guest. The CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the Guest of Honor at the event. IQAC Director Professor Dr. Asaduzzaman presided over the event. IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr. Md. Sanaul Rabbi deliverd his welcome speech and the program was moderated by Deputy Director (Information and Publication) Mr. Mohammad Fazlur Rahman. The day-long training program discussed University Annual Performance Agreement (APA) Implementation & Challenges, NIS & Mandatory Strategic Objects Tool for Ensuring Governance, Communicating Citizen Charter Committee to the University Stakeholder, Right to Information and Research Management. All Deans of the University, Directors of Institutes, Heads of Departments, Center Chairmen and all nominated representatives of APA-affiliated Departments/Offices/Branches and APA-related Committees namely Ethics Committee, Working Committee, Right to Information Committee, Grievance Redressal Management Cell, Citizen Charter Committee were present at the workshop. All members under the purview of e-Governance and Innovation Committee and representatives of Research and Extension Department participated in the event.
