Shahriar Nafiz, a student from Gangni, Meherpur, won the mega prize in the campaign titled "Quiz-e Recharge-e Khela Hobe Nagad-e", organized by Nagad, the Postal Department's digital financial service.
On 6 September, Sunday, a gala ceremony was hosted at a five-star hotel in Dhaka where national football team captain Jamal Bhuyan handed over the award to Shahriar Nafiz. The mega winner will watch the national team's next away match live from the stadium alongside the captain.
The event was attended by Nagad Administrator Md. Motasim Billah, Senior Associate Administrator Syed Himwanuddin Ahmed, Associate Administrator Anwar Ullah, Chief Commercial Officer Shaheen Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chief Financial Officer Afzal Ahmed, and Head of Marketing H U M Mehedi Sajjad, among other officials. A PS5 gaming console was presented to Shaheen Alam from Mymensingh, while Nagad Gift Boxes were distributed to Karib-ur-Rahman, Md. Amjad Ali Riyad, Md. Yasaruzzaman Mitul, engineer Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Md. Tuhin Reza, Oishi Moni, Mahbub Sadik, and Md. Mizanur Rahman.
Elated upon receiving the award, Shahriar Nafiz told the media that watching the national team play on foreign soil is a dream come true, and receiving the trophy from Jamal Bhuyan is a memory he will cherish forever.
